You are welcome to visit Grace Presbyterian Church on any Sunday! It may be that you've never been to church before and are looking to connect with God; or have some questions answered; or, meet other people. It may be that you have moved to Newcastle and are looking for a church with which to partner. It may be that you're visiting on holidays. Whatever the case, you are most welcome to join us at any of our Sunday meetings. Probably the first thing to decide is which of our church meetings to come along to.
Brekky Church - 8am
Meets at 8am for an 'in-house' breakfast and chat, followed by the beginning of the service at 8:30am. Brekky Church meets in the hall behind the main church building which is accessed through the child gate and up the ramp on the left-hand side of the block. There's Kids' Church for Preschool to Year 6 and a relaxed cafe-style vibe to the service. It attracts people from all generations!
Morning Church - 10am
Meets at 10am and has Kids’ Church for Preschool to Year 6. There is a parents’ room with a video feed from the church meeting. After Church we have a great morning tea and our baristas make us some great espresso coffee.
Night Church – 5pm
Meets at 5pm and is mostly young adults, lots of University students, and teenagers (but everyone is welcome). After church we have dinner together by alternating between having a delicous 'in-house' meal prepared by our members or we head out to a Wallsend venue. Enjoy the close community feel of Night Church!
What to expect...
Park in the council car park located at the corner of Nelson St and Cowper St. It's a 20m walk to our church building. When you arrive at the front door you will be welcomed and shown where to go. You can choose where to sit. We sing, pray, and hear from the Bible.
What should I wear?
We are a fairly casual bunch so don't feel a need to dress up on our account.
